More pictures of Sissel being the cutest.

Kitty saved a putty today UwU

AND HE IS THE CUTEST THING EVER

perfect cat

He was set to be put down at 7 AM this morning, so last night I sent an email to the shelter and asked he be saved for me. I formally adopted him and I’m not holding him until Emily gets into Texas, and she’ll take him.

She’s naming him Sissel, a la Ghost Trick. He’s a perfect cat. VERY loving and sweet.

As many of you know, I was considering getting a cat as of last night, and went in to the shelter today with the intent to. I came in, and he was gone. Not adopted, gone. I froke out and asked where he went, and they said he was desperately ill as of this morning and went to the vet. I sadly took it as a sign and did my work for the day anyhow, occasionally loving on the guinea pig for adoption, because I love guinea pigs, lol.
One of the officers sees me holding her and asks how I managed to get her out without her screaming. I told her I just… got her out. It wasn’t a huge fuss. She said, “You know, that guinea pig’s been here for a while and uh… needs to be adopted.” (That’s code for “on the waiting list”, if you will.) She came in with her sister, and she passed away at the shelter from stress… probably all the cats and dogs everywhere making noise all the time, but that meant this little girl was left all alone. They told me if I would adopt her, they’d give her, the cage she was in, and supplies for her to me for free. “Just save her life.” It felt like it was meant to be.
So I did. She’s in my lap right now taking a nap (which guinea pigs don’t normally relax enough to do!) and I’m calling her Pigwidgeon. Welcome to the family, girl.
